China: 30 panda cubs born in 2025 debut to send Spring Festival greetings

Giant panda cubs are presented to public at the Wolong Shenshuping base of the China Conservation and Research Center for the Giant Panda in Sichuan province on February 5, 2026, to celebrate the upcoming Chinese New Year. Thirty giant panda cubs born in 2025 at two leading panda breeding institutions in Sichuan province made their collective public debut to send Spring Festival greetings to the nation. Last year, a total of 45 panda cubs were born at the two institutions.
